AutomotiveUI 2022: The 14th International ACM Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications

AutomotiveUI, the ACM International Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications, is the premier forum for UI/UX research in the automotive domain. AutomotiveUI brings together researchers and practitioners interested in both the technical and the human aspects of vehicle user interfaces and applications. This year’s theme for AutomotiveUI 2022 is ‘DASH’, which promotes Diversity, Accessibility, Safety, and Human-centered approach. 

As with previous AutomotiveUI conferences, work that addresses topics such as novel vehicle user interfaces, models of and concepts for enhancing the driver experience, performance and behavior, and state-of-the-art vehicle technology and automated driving systems are welcome. An emphasis for 2022 is on research that examines the needs of different road user groups. For more information on subjects being considered, please visit the AutomotiveUI 2022 website.

AutomotiveUI 2022 invites you to submit original work in one or more of the following formats: Full papers, Works in progress, Workshops, Tutorials, Videos, Demos, and Doctoral colloquium. Submissions for all tracks will be available through the Precision Conference Solutions system.

Important Dates:

Submissions are accepted until 11:59 p.m. AoE (Anywhere on Earth) on the dates below. These dates are fixed; there will be no extensions.

Full Papers:

Abstract Submission deadline: April 20, 2022

Full Paper Submission deadline: April 27, 2022

Decision notification: June 22, 2022

Works in Progress:

Submission deadline: June 29, 2022

Decision notification: July 30, 2022

Workshops, Video & Demos:

Submission deadline: June 15, 2022

Decision notification: July 13, 2022

Doctoral Colloquium:

Submission deadline: July 6, 2022
